MARCH 9, 2009 AERO LAUNCHES LARGEST EVER OUT-OF-HOME LENTICULAR CAMPAIGNThis week sees the start of one of the UK’s largest ever lenticular poster campaigns for Nestlé Aero. One thousand 6-sheet panels are being installed around the country from today (Monday 9th March).The lenticular panels are designed to work alongside Aero’s ‘skate park’ TV campaign, immersing the consumer in a world of chocolate bubbles. Hive Associates, the lenticular manufacturers, worked closely with JWT to ensure that the artwork shoot generated the best possible images for the lenticular technology. The resulting 20-frame animation is the most complex lenticular creative to-date. Aero brand manager Katie Jordan commented: “Working closely with our outdoor specialist Source OOH, we decided that lenticulars would bring a sense of movement and fun to the 6 sheet creative. From an engagement point of view, it was crucial that the consumer could interact with our bubbles and we felt that lenticulars delivered the right platform on which to make this possible.” The Outdoor campaign, running on Clear Channel Outdoor sites across the country, was planned and bought by Source OOH, and executed by Hyperspace, the innovations division of Posterscope. The creative agency was JWT. Richard Simkins, Senior Project Manager in Hyperspace added: “Our research has shown that using lenticular panels in out-of-home is a great way of differentiating your brand with the consumer.
